How does Forge Excel work?

Upload your spreadsheet, CSV, or PDF and ask a question in plain English. Forge Excel sends your data and question to 8 AI analysts simultaneously — then synthesises the strongest insight from all of them. No formulas, no pivot tables, no friction.

What file formats are supported?

Excel (.xlsx, .xls), CSV, and PDF files. For PDFs containing tables or financial data, Forge Excel will extract and analyse the data automatically.

How large can my file be?

Files up to 10MB are supported. For larger datasets, consider splitting your file or exporting a relevant subset before uploading.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your files are processed in real time and never stored on our servers. Forge Excel never retains your spreadsheet data after the analysis is complete. Swiss infrastructure. FADP compliant.

What kinds of questions can I ask?

Anything you'd normally need formulas or pivot tables for — "What were the top 5 products by revenue?", "Show me the trend in Q3 vs Q4", "Which customers are at risk of churning?" — ask it in plain English.

Where are my analyses saved?

Your analyses are saved to My Archive — a shared diary across all Forge products. Access it from your profile. Each entry is tagged with "Excel" as the source.

Can I use my own AI accounts?

No individual AI accounts are needed. Forge Excel connects to all 8 AIs via the Chatbots API — your Excel account is all you need.
